Miley Cyrus is urging kids to stay off the internet and go outside and play instead.

Miley Cyrus has warned her young fans not to waste their lives on the internet – urging them to go outside and play sports instead.

The Hannah Montana star quit Twitter.com last October, insisting she was turning her back on her online activities to live in the real world.

And she has reiterated her distaste for the web once again, telling her fans the internet is a “dangerous” place.

She says, “I’m telling kids, don’t go on the internet, it’s dangerous. It’s not fun and it wastes your life. You should be outside playing sports.”

Cyrus learned the perils of living in an internet age the hard way – the singer/actress faced a $4 billion lawsuit in 2009 from a Los Angeles based Asian woman, who claimed an online snap of Cyrus and her pals making a “slanty eyes” gesture left her emotionally stressed.
